December Letter From Justin!

Hello everyone, this is Justin.
I hope that everyone had a relaxing holiday season and that 2014 is a great one. December marks the first full month The Wrap Institute was online. As the site takes shape new videos are always being added.
In December, the following videos were uploaded:
  • IR Heater,
  • Sometimes
  • Overlaps are OK,
  • Making Glass,
  • Fixing Wrinkles and Bubbles,
  • Basics of Squeegeeing,
  • Door Panel Removal,
  • Door Handle Inlays,
  • Wrinkle Free Solid Angles,
  • Tucking Behind Free Floating Windows,
  • Trimming Untrimmed Panels on Site,
  • Raised Objects: Door Handles,
  • Post Install Tips,
  • Efficiency for Installs,
  • 15% Rule of Thumb,
  • Deep Recessed Areas: Roofs,
  • Wrapping Door Handles Off the Vehicle,
  • Wrapping Door Handles on the Vehicle,
  • License Plate with Painted Molding
  • Speedwrap Xtra.
For January, on slate is to add videos on deep recessed areas, compound curves, the technique of leeching for bumpers and deep recessed lights, cutting techniques, motorcycles, window tinting, laptops and much more. As the site takes shape, the tool section will have more details and links for where to buy tools. The resource page will be fully functioning within days and will be a great way to find information on a wide variety of topics including workshops.
One aspect that I’m very excited about is the chance for you, a Wrap Institute member, to upload your own video or photo. This is a great opportunity to help build the content on the site, promote yourself or your company and to win prizes. So far, the prizes for videos, which are awarded twice a year, are: 25 yards of Avery SWF (any finish except chrome), 8 rolls of Knifeless Tape, one Makita heat gun, one complete Croftgate Wrap Care system and I’m working on a free spot in one of my Avery SWF workshops in North America.
Needless to say thanks for your membership and always feel free to contact us with suggestions or issues you have on the site. I hope that you find the site informative and that it helps create higher profits and better workflow.
Cheers!
Justin
