NEVER STOP LEARNING™

July 1 Newsletter

Hello everyone – I want to begin with a half year overview of The Wrap Institute.

Since Jan 1, 2015:

  • New videos: 118
  • Additional hours of footage: 20+ hours
  • New languages: 6
  • There are approximately 120 videos currently in production with many more to be shot.
  • Here are some of the major upcoming planned shoots for the rest of 2015:
    • Cambea Wrap Contest in Brazil
    • Super live Speedwrap with Jim Miller, John Duever and Istvan Hargitti (I will personally film it along with provide running commentary)
    • Textured Surfaces and Floor Graphics with Adam Sumner
    • New detailed Knifeless Tape videos with Phil Aquin
    • Super Full Print wrap with Justin – series of videos on problem solving, registration, and design
    • 3M Di-Noc
    • Art Car Wrap at West Coast Customs
    • SEMA
    • 3-days with full access to car dealerships (please send in video requests on the Forum)

Wrapscon was a huge success on many levels. Too much to address in a newsletter so please watch all the videos. Thanks to everyone who donated material and tools, along with everyone who helped out with the booth.

29 New Vids Added in June:

I want to address any issues people have been having with submitting help tickets on issues regarding renewing memberships and signing in. I have personally reviewed all responses by The Wrap Institute team since January 1st and see that all tickets have been responded to within 24 hours. However, I know that some of you have submitted several tickets on the same topic as it seems that no response was made. My first thought on this is that the responses from TWI might be ending up in junk mail. So I ask that if you submit a ticket, check your junk/spam folder before sending another ticket. I understand the frustration of not hearing back right away on a topic so I will be meeting with the team to see how responses can be made even quicker.

Exciting times ahead for The Wrap Institute and the industry.  Thank you for your continued support and happy wrapping in July.

Justin
