This is the first of a two part video focus on wrapping the hood of this VW with color change PPF. Part 1 is about the install portion which has two major challenges: avoid adhesive lines and getting too much tension on the edges/corners. See how Rainer uses a variety of techniques during the prep phases that dramatically help with the install in terms of avoiding adhesive lines. Also, note that how he sets up the film for the main install area helps the film wrap itself on the deep recessed areas on the sides which is a win-win. The final result is a paint like finish which is always the number one goal. In part 2, the focus is on cutting and trimming so be sure to check it out.
