TWI Commercial Hatchback: 360-Degree Full Print Wrap: The Backhand Technique

Created almost 4 years ago

The front bumper on this VW Golf is very tricky in that it has a lot of compound cuves and recessed areas that come at together at critical junctions. This requires Justin to feed the material in to areas that results in it bunching up. To still maintain the workflow and avoid overstretching Justin uses the "backhand" technique. Its a great technique for neutralizing big clusters of material. Material used: Hexis 190EVO heat gun, race ramps, glove, squeegee, buffer, knife, blade, safe box, marker index: commercial - front bumper - 360 series tags: backhand, vw, golf, front bumper, curves, recessed areas, vents
