This was on day one so Kiss, Jim and John are doing this. Now the idea that Joffrey had was he wanted to do one half of the car with Rising Sun color flow from Avery Dennison and the other half with Rushing Riptide. \n\nSo one is kind of a yellow orange and the other is a purple. So he basically wanted a nice good clean overlap. They actually ended up doing a butt joint in the middle with Triline. \n\nSo they kind of set it up on the hood now. So they basically did a 60 inch panel or 152. Started in the front make sure it's long enough to cover the bottom right now. \n\nSo you can see that right there they're working and they're obviously seen in sections. That's what I really want you to appreciate right now is they locked it on the flat section right there but then there's a slight curve around the front by about almost like an inch. You can see that right in front of Kiss's face and John's. \n\nSo you can see that Kiss right now is tucking it in but notice that they're wrapping something really hard and laughing and there's rugs from NBM right there coming saying hi. So always nice to see rugs at the show. So you can see right now by taking it down right to the front they relax it right now and Kiss is making basically a relief cut at the front. \n\nSo if they would have taken it down and bridged it right in front of the light they would have kind of jammed it in. They would have obviously overstretched it but because they knew they were seen in sections they can now take this giant piece and see by making that giant relief cut right there Kiss can do two things right there. He can feed it into the gap right there and that's basically like a giant scooper mouth or pocket. \n\nFeeds it in there right from the relief cut tucking in right there and then Jim can start to kind of jam on the corner on the outside swinging the material around where the front fender meets right there. You can see he's really super focused feeding a lot of the tension and stress up towards the fender right there which he's going to cut away. So that's really smart by seen in sections right there. \n\nBut the main thing is by making that giant relief cut so you can see Kiss kind of working in that upper super tight gap using a combination of soft squeezing finger heats it pushes it down into the cup right now. So awesome technique for that. Once he scoops it there you can see how relaxed that is. \n\nSuper clean and mean. Takes the squeegee out of his mouth tucks it in. John's on the backside kind of setting it up on that left side there getting it ready for the deep part around the kind of vent at the bottom.\n\nBut you can see Kiss super focused right there and that's what I love about what they did right now is by making that cut and swinging it around now they can start going super deep on a really complicated section of the bumper. It's a good communication where Jim's kind of focusing on his size. John's kind of setting up that section on the left so Kiss can kind of focus right there on that scoop and then John's kind of focusing on the left. \n\nReally nice clean and mean. So they're taking a lot of the tension and feeding it to an area that they're not going to wrap. Super super smart. \n\nNow here's where it gets really interesting. So we got Jim and Kiss focusing and there's a very very very deep kind of vent or recessed area right at the bottom section there. It's enclosed so it can't kind of shift the tension or kind of feed it into there. \n\nSo what they're trying to do now is really set it up. So great communication there and the sense that what they did is they kind of stretched to the corner left a lot of excess film that Jim's going to come back later and stretch to the bottom lower corner but they're essentially trying to kind of feed the material in as deep as they can to the area. So look at Kiss's hand right there.\n\nPressing really deep into the center by pressing deep into the center and using a little kiss of heat he's feeding the material in towards the base and then which actually sucks up all that extra material. So you can see Jim pulling it right there at the bottom and that creates a huge amount of material that is already deep into that recessed area. So they're well well well ahead of the curve. \n\nSo you can see Kiss's focus right there. Super super high focus as much as they were joking before. Now it's just focus time where you can see that he's going to give it a kiss of heat. \n\nReally relax it right there at the little piece right there so it doesn't wrinkle. See how he uses his thumb and focus and actually focuses at the pull in towards the scoop which sucks up that tension. So it'll treat it like a mouth where he's hungry for vinyl. \n\nSo basically he fed that section of vinyl. Now the trick is though once they fed that area with vinyl look how much vinyl is on the face there where it gives it a kiss of heat. Now Jim kind of picks it up to spread that material out a little more. \n\nThere's the triangle technique and now four sets of hands just kind of really relaxing it down. Jim's focus right there to kind of get that little wrinkle out. Once they get that out, a little fingernail action right there, that comes out nice and clean and BAM they are out of that corner. \n\nSo again great focus and teamwork there. That's one of the benefits of watching this video again. You know no one else in the world gets to see this high quality this close up and again that's the benefit of being a Wrap Institute member for sure. \n\nAnd now here what they do is give it a kiss of heat now that they've worked into that section and they're not doing this to stretch right now. They're doing it to relax. They're taking all the way of the tension and now Kiss can really focus of taking around that ridge without any wrinkles. \n\nThey're just taking a bit of smidge right there. They separate it in half so Kiss has got his section out. Jim kind of works it out. \n\nNotice that Kiss is kind of leading it right there. So he kind of picks it up at the edge and now Jim can focus on his side while Kiss focuses on his side there nice and clean. So it picks it up nice and high, tucks it to the base. \n\nNow they're working with basically house money because they relaxed it before. Kiss kind of talks to Jim making sure that they're on the right page so okay we're gonna go into this base. You can kind of focus on your corner. \n\nI got it from here. Kiss notices some tension at the base right now so he gives it a kiss of heat to relax. That's a cool pre-stretch right now. \n\nVery very important to kind of relax it right before the edge. Once they relax it now he says Jim you can go back and cut. So while Jim focuses on that bottom section now Kiss is now gonna go laser focus right on this upper section here. \n\nSo this is basically a tiny relief cut around that protruding section of that recessed area. While Kiss gets that started Jim jumps up and now it's cutting away the excess film. So good teamwork where Jim's just not watching Kiss do his thing. \n\nHe's gonna kind of focus and try to create that super high workflow. It cuts on the front fender side so he gets the wraparound for a good color change. But here at the top again taking advantage of the fact that it's a black car cuts on the side of the hood. \n\nNow here's where it gets interesting now. While Kiss is working on a really kind of deep funky recessed area kind of in the bottom section there. John what he has is kind of a open-sided deep recessed area. \n\nNow his side is super super steep. Good communication there. So John says you know what give me a little kiss of heat right now. \n\nKiss gives a kiss of heat and now kind of they work the material in. Now John's focused on the deepest part of the bottom. So watch what Kiss does now. \n\nHe kind of focuses it on the section that is fairly steep but then once he gets it in he works the material down towards John. So he's helping John out with a little excess material on that little material now. Fed him right into that gap. \n\nSuper cool. Jim's focused on the backside there tucking the material into that light. Super hard cut out but it cuts it out nice and clean and mean. \n\nDouble checks the bottom edge. Looks good. So Jim jumps up and focus on something else and then while these guys are really focused on that really technical section there. \n\nBut because he's open to where John is. John can actually pick the material up nice and high and give it as much material as possible once it's in nice and clean. Kiss makes that beautiful relief cut right there which now allows them to relax the material out towards the left nice and straight. \n\nSo notice he's holding it with his finger so when they pull it now it's not going to rip. Very important. So he works it out that last little ridge right there. \n\nOnce it shoots to the flat that allows John to kind of now watch picks it back up and takes it nice and flat. So really really focus on the recessed and that curve first. Once they got that down nice and clean then Kiss goes back. \n\nKind of focuses more on that upper scoop right there. Tucks it in nice and clean. Jim doing some shameless promotion with the squeegee right there. \n\nThat's all about Jim Miller. He goes right there. Bam. \n\nAnd then Kiss goes in for a nice tug and cut. John pulls it to the left. Nice clean and mean. \n\nRight to the edge there and they're doing a butt joint there because they want a nice good clean and mean for the good quality for later on. I see that soft squeegee really conforming right there on Kiss's side that really kind of just tucks it into the gap. So once the section that John is on is pretty much well on its way downhill Kiss now can jump back to that really kind of tricky enclosed area. \n\nGives it a kiss of heat just to relax it. So just taking it right to the edge. Notice he's just really focused. \n\nDouble checks that his knife is ready to go because he's definitely gonna need it really soon. And it comes back to squeegee. This wrapping dragon really has it all: Thanks to the notches in the two short flanks of the squeegee, you can now get on much better with wrapping work in recesses and obstructed angles and can apply the film perfectly.

In addition, the four outer flanks cushion the contact pressure of the corners in a completely different way to conventionally shaped squeegees.

The WrapDragon features three R4 radii and a 90° edge at the corners. They enable you to apply vinyls under mouldings and edges much easier. Even the deliberate cutting of the film is possible with this edge. A new manufacturing process makes the asymmetrical corner arrangement possible and allows the whole tool to be used without residual plastic burrs.

WrapDragon, of course, is available in the typical Yellotools colours and the corresponding degrees of hardness - from very soft to extremely hard, Teflon-coated or anti-static.
