The 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer Program consists of two elements: a two-day training course and a one-day testing session.

Two Days of Training
We will cover the skills and knowledge necessary to apply DI-NOC architectural films in an interior design setting. Completion of the training will allow participants to complete DI-NOC applications using appropriate materials, tools, and techniques. Applications covered include flat surfaces, door wrapping, complex curves, corners, and more. Techniques covered include liner removal, trimming and cutting, proper squeegeeing, and more. In addition to application techniques, other training topics include surface preparation, installation considerations, and maintenance and repair recommendations.

One Day of Testing
This one-day test is comprised of nine different application stations that participants are required to successfully complete. Successful completion of this test earns participants 3M’s DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer designation. Application techniques tested are taught during the training session. Please note: Participation in the training and testing does not guarantee earning the 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer designation as the test must be passed successfully.

Post-Training Support
Even after you leave training with the skills to practice installing 3M DI-NOC Architectural Finishes, we offer ongoing support. If you encounter an issue in the field, our trainers are available to offer guidance and advice. We strive to ensure all EPD University graduates are successful as they grow their business.
