TWI Color Change: Lights, Wrap! Change - Toyota Supra Series For A Mov...

In the final part of this 4-part module on wrapping the front bumper of this Toyota Supra, the focus is on the very steep and deep inserts in the middle. Jim and Dimas wrap this middle section with 3 overlay pieces. The reason is that the final result looks like one piece and by doing it in 3 pieces there is no tension on the edges and recessed areas. Also, the reason they do these as overlays and not inlays is tension from the other sections that were wrapped: the main piece and the L-shaped inlays. So, in the end, TWI hopes you appreciate that this front bumper was wrapped in 8 pieces. We strongly feel that this is the minimum it could be wrapped in without sacrificing quality, durability and efficiency. This is worth noting especially if you are an intermediate wrapper who has been told bumpers need to be removed and done in one piece.
