TWI PPF: Door Handle - Dry Apply Color Change on an Audi Q3 featuring Inozetek Dynamic

Created 7 days ago

In this TWI library video, the focus will be on how to wrap the door handle in realtime with satin metallic dry apply PPF. With cast PVC color change film, we are big believers in Zero Stretching the film before wrapping the door handle. Since this is PU film, this is not an option yet it's not a problem when the right techniques are used. Be sure to note how Justin picks the film up the body line before stretching. This helps avoid adhesive lines and a uniform finish. For the edges, see how he uses a combination of feeding the mouth and the butane torch to relax the film. On the backside overlay, pay attention to how he uses the butane torch to raise the surface energy of the bottom layer. Installer: Justin Pate Material: Inoztek Satin Liquic Metallic Blood Red Location: Miller Decals - Atlanta Vehicle: Audi Q3
