Two Wheels. Infinite Challenges.
Master Motorcycle Wraps with Dimas in the Lead.
Motorcycles look incredible when wrapped—sleek, custom, and built for attention. But getting them wrapped? That’s where things get tricky. With lots of compound curves of all sizes and heat-sensitive parts, super bikes are one of the most challenging vehicles to wrap out there. If not done properly, overstretching, lifting, and adhesive lines can ruin your results. Thankfully, Dimas Brasil is here to show how it's done the TWI Pro way.
Wrapping a motorcycle pushes every aspect of your technique—and the film—to its limits. That’s why dialing in the details is crucial. Know your film’s thickness, how well it Zero Stretches, how heat-sensitive it is, and what post-heating temp it can handle. Get those variables right, and you’ll avoid overstretching and ensure a long-lasting, clean install—even on the most extreme shapes.
Sure, compound curves are hard—but let’s talk about the “mouths”. From tiny gaps to wide, recessed areas, feeding film into these tricky spots without creating tension takes real finesse and expertise. The key? Shift the film gently into the mouth instead of forcing it. This can be done by our circle of wrinkles technique or pull the film into the area from above it. This lowers tension and keeps the stretch down to a minimum. Watch Dimas in action—he’s got the art of feeding the mouth down tight..
Don’t fall into the “one-piece-only” trap. Smart wrappers know that strategic seams on sections like the gas tank or cover on the front wheel can save time and reduce tension without sacrificing quality. Use multiple pieces and place seams exactly along body lines. When done right, the overlaps are nearly invisible, and the finish looks seamless. It’s a pro move—and a faster, more durable one that helps durability and happy customers.
