In this TWI library video, the focus will be on how to wrap the hood with satin metallic dry apply PPF. The prep is Triple S on the entire surface then a focused degrease on the edges and recessed areas. For install, to ensure a perfect finish, Justin asks for a Yo-Yo moment which helps avoid adhesive lines and lower install times. Once on the main surface, be sure to note how Justin finishes the corners and edges. Corners are cut and formed first using a butane torch. For the top edge, he float cuts it so it folds under around 1/4 inch. For the sides he cuts on the fender side so it wraps under. On the front, he forms the film under the edge onto a body line then does a focused trim. The final result is very high quality and long term durability is assured. Installer: Justin Pate Material: Inoztek Satin Liquic Metallic Blood Red Location: Miller Decals - Atlanta Vehicle: Audi Q3
